=1884-P VAM-12 Doubled Motto= Discovered by Martin Field, June 1981. 12 III2-1 - C3c (Doubled Motto) (187) Reverse C3c - Doubled tops of IN GOD WE TRUST letters. Tops of lower serifs of TATES OF AM also doubled at top right of right wreath. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # The date is at the right side of the normal lateral position. Note the crack can easily fool a casual attributor into calling this the far 1884-P VAM-9 incorrectly.
