1882-CC VAM-5 Doubled 882 Discovered by Guy Messing, July 1976. Revision September 2006 by Michael Ash. 5(revised) III25 · C3a (Doubled 882) (178) Obverse III25– 882 doubled in date. Left 8 slightly doubled on right outside with raised dot at top inside of upper loop. Slightly doubled right 8 at top outside, lower left outside of upper loop and right outside of lower loop and 2 at top outside, top inside and right outside of upper loop. Slightly doubled top of Phrygian cap and cotton leaves and bolls. 882 doubled. Closed 2. Reverse C3a– Die marker– Short die scratch at top left of T in UNITED. Emission Sequence Obverse: Reverse: Comments: Comes with a filled G in God and without.
