=1880-S VAM-6 Doubled 0, S Tilted Left= Discovered by Leroy Van Allen, June 1966. Revised August 2022 6 III2 3 ∙ C3c (Doubled 0, S Tilted Left) (188) Obverse III2 3 – 1 doubled at lower right side of vertical shaft, right 8 at lower left outside of upper loop, and 0 in date is doubled at top left and right outside and lower right inside. ''Die Marker'' - Single diagonal polishing line in cap fold. Reverse C3c – Normal die of C3 type with very Large centered mint mark tilted left. ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # This exact same obverse die is shared with VAMs 1880-S VAM-91 & 1880-S VAM-120. # With the die break through the B in LIBERTY, this is 1880-S VAM-6A (See 1880-S VAM-91 & 1880-S VAM-120). # The first 8 has a chip of extra metal inside the upper loop. # Short, vertical threadlike impression on Liberty's nose
