1880-S VAM-40 Doubled 80, S Tilted Left Discovered by Oscar Simpson, April 1977. 40 III2 26 ∙ C3a (Doubled 80, S Tilted Left) (180) Obverse III2 26 – Doubled 80 in date. Second 8 doubled faintly at left bottom outside of upper loop. 0 doubled faintly at bottom left outside on top surface. Reverse C3a – Normal die of C3 type with very large centered mint mark tilted left.
