Discovery March 2025, Mark Witkower 1J III2 1 • C3a (Multiple Threadlike Impressions) (181) Obverse III2 1 - Multiple threadlike impressions scattered throughout Liberty’s portrait. One is in front of the eye, another strong line sticks out of the upper right of the right cotton leaf and reaches the folded top of the cap. Many others pass thru the letters of LIBERTY. ''Die markers'' - A shallow angle diagonal line passes thru the bottom of the E and the left foot of the R. Short lines in gap above ‘bearclaw’. Reverse C3a - ''Die markers'' - Pattern of lines in top of bow opening. Faint polishing line from leaf to 1st berry cluster in left wreath bough. Comments:
