The 1875 Eagle Patterns page groups the eagle patterns dated 1875 in the Metric & Stella Patterns (1874-1879) series, all struck at the Philadelphia Mint. J-1443 to J-1445a carry William Barber's Sailor Head, in gold (two known), copper, aluminum and white metal; J-1446 and J-1447 are copper and aluminum strikings from the regular dies for the off-metal sets sold to collectors.
