Description
The 1864 Proof Two Cent Pattern - J-366 is a proof two-cent piece struck at the Philadelphia Mint, part of the Civil War Patterns (1860-1865) series. It pairs the regular 1864 two-cent obverse with the small motto version of the motto and the 1863 reverse on which CENTS is strongly curved. USPatterns thinks J-366 and J-367 may be the same coin. It is struck in copper with a plain edge; USPatterns rates it R-7. Catalogued as Judd-366, Pollock-433, A/W 455, Taxay EP384. Cataloged as PCGS #60536.
