Description
A 1785 Nova Constellatio copper halfpenny with pointed rays and the standard (large) date. This is the most commonly encountered 1785 Nova Constellatio variety. The pointed rays extend sharply from the central eye of providence, surrounded by thirteen stars representing the original states. The reverse features a wreath with the denomination.
