Description
A 1783 Nova Constellatio copper halfpenny with blunt (rounded) rays and Small US lettering. The blunt rays variety has softer, less sharply pointed rays emanating from the central eye compared to the pointed rays type. Combined with the Small US reverse, this represents one of the standard die combinations for the 1783 copper halfpennies.
