1960 D Lincoln Cent RPM-007 - one of the overlooked varieties from a great date
Repunched Mint MarkPosted by NumisdexDealer· 0 replies
The 1960 D gets a lot of attention for the Small Date Over Large Date (FS-501) and the FS-502 RPM, but there are a bunch of other documented varieties on this date that get overshadowed. This is RPM-007 -- you can see the remnants of the original D punch offset from the final position. Found this one coin roll hunting. It's uncirculated with nice original red color. Still in my collection. If you're searching through OBW Lincoln cent rolls, 1960 D is one of the dates worth slowing down on. The Denver Mint had a lot going on that year.
