1983 Type II Counter Clash CCL(T2)-1c-1983-02

CCL(T2)-1c-1983-02 Every once in awhile, we run across a coin that looks familiar, but in the mind’s eye has something missing. Such was the case when Billy Crawford put this one under his scope. Billy has memorized many of the die markers for the more valued Lincoln cent oddities, such as this one. This is the famed CCL(TII)-1c-1983-02, except it is before the counter clash happened. The die markers on the obverse are a perfect match leaving no doubt to what this coin is. All photos have been taken by Billy Crawford and the coin is part of his personal collection.
