Description
ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-45 is an atypical die clash on a 1960-D Small Date Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes. Mint workers removed the marks STATES had left under Lincoln's bust, but missed the mark left by the D of UNITED. The reverse shows the line from the bottom of the bust through STATES. Die markers: a chip in LIBERTY's B, a heavy scratch running from the base of that B into the field, and a minor repunched mint mark.
