Description

ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-41 This is another tilted die clash from 1960 that was minted in Denver and had a small date. The overlay provided shows the relative position of the dies when they did clash. The roof line clash mark from the Memorial building is shown dissecting the digits of the date. The top of Lincoln’s head can be seen clashed into the words ONE CENT. This die is recognizable by the long die scratch from the bottom of the G in GOD. There is also a die chip on the lower part of the diagonal bar of the N in ONE.
