1960 (D) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Small Date - Atypical Die Clash ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-41

Description

ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-41 is an atypical die clash on a 1960-D Small Date Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes as one more tilted clash on this issue. The Memorial's roof line left a mark cutting across the digits of the date, and the top of Lincoln's head clashed into ONE CENT. A long die scratch from the foot of the G in GOD identifies the die, as does a die chip low on the diagonal of the N in ONE. MDC gives an overlay of the die positions.
