1960 (D) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Small Date - Atypical Die Clash ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-40

Description

ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-40 is an atypical die clash on a 1960-D Small Date Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes, with at least three clash events. Two took place toward the north: ONE's E clashed below the O in GOD, CENT's C left two marks under the W in WE, and CENT's E shows between WE and TRUST. The last clash, toward the south, left letters of STATES under Lincoln's bust. MDC gives an overlay for the strongest of the three events and others showing how the die positions differed.
