Description

ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-30 This is a tilted die clash found on a 1960D small date Lincoln cent. 3D / 1D Different levels of clash marks can be seen in the area below Lincoln’s bust from the word STATES on the reverse. Extra thickness can be seen in the “bar” through the word STATES, indicating that more than one die clash event took place in this area. These die clash events can be recognized by the RPM, a D with both upper and lower split serifs.
