ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-25 This small date 1960D Lincoln cent shows a strong clash mark into the 1 digit of the date left by the roof line of the Memorial building. Also seen is a clash mark left by the lower line of Lincoln’s bust through the word STATES. Notice the extra bar below the horizontal in the last T in STATES. This may indicate that this die has a counter clash. However, without evidence of a second clash it can not be proven. This extra bar does show up on all other coins with these clash events. 4 / 1 The die chip seen in the last S of STATES can be used for positive identification of this die.
