Description
ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-22 is an atypical die clash on a 1960-D Small Date Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by Mad Die Clashes, with several clash events. The first marked the obverse die near its top and the reverse die near its bottom, and doubling there shows that two clashes happened in that area. The second left marks at the bottom of the obverse and the top of the reverse; its strongest mark is in the field left of the bottom of Lincoln's bust, made by the field around the E of UNITED. The last event is also doubled, again pointing to two clashes, and the curvature of the dies shows it is not part of any other event. MDC's clash-area notation is 1D 2 3 5 / 1 3 5D (obverse / reverse).
