ADC-1c-1960D(SD)-01 This tilted die clash was rotated (approximately 6 º ) and slightly offset. The overlay above shows the die rotation and the position of the dies when they did clash. 3 / 1 The vertical bars of the two Ts in STATES anda portion of the A can be seen clashed into the area below Lincoln’s bust The lower edge of  Lincoln’s bust and the field created the “bar” through the word STATES This overlay shows the relationship of the clash marks left by the opposing dies.
