The 2026 American Innovation Dollar is a United States dollar from the American Innovation Dollars 2018 to Date series — the final year of the series. In 2026, coins were struck at the Denver and Philadelphia Mints. The obverse features the Statue of Liberty with a geared background representing innovation and the reverse displays rotating designs honoring innovations and innovators from each state and territory. The introductory coin in the series depicts George Washington's signature alongside stylized gears, commemorating his signing of the first U.S. patent on July 31, 1790 — establishing the American patent system that would fuel centuries of innovation. Michigan (the moving assembly line — Henry Ford), Wisconsin (the typewriter — Christopher Latham Sholes), Minnesota (the open-heart surgery — Dr. C. Walton Lillehei), and Oregon (the Crater Lake Lodge, celebrating conservation innovation). Across its variants, estimated values range from $1 to $6 depending on mint mark, grade, and strike type.
