The 2026 (P) American Innovation Dollar - Minnesota, Position B, struck at the Philadelphia Mint, is part of the American Innovation Dollars 2018 to Date collection. The obverse features a profile of the Statue of Liberty with a small stylized gear privy mark, and the reverses honor innovations and innovators from each state, the District of Columbia and the U.S. territories. This coin honors Frederick McKinley Jones' invention of portable refrigeration, which revolutionized the food industry by enabling long-distance transport of perishable goods. Struck in manganese-brass clad, weighing 8.1 grams, 26.5 mm in diameter, with a lettered edge.
