Produced at the Denver Mint, the 2025 (D) American Innovation Dollar - Texas, Position A is part of the American Innovation Dollars 2018 to Date series. The U.S. Mint struck 545,600 Texas dollars at Denver in all, with Position A and Position B edges counted together; how the total divides between the two is not recorded. The obverse features a profile of the Statue of Liberty with a small stylized gear privy mark, and the reverses honor innovations and innovators from each state, the District of Columbia and the U.S. territories. This coin honors Johnson Space Center's Mission Control in Houston, which has provided the logistical and communications backbone for every U.S. crewed spaceflight since Gemini 4 in 1965.
