The 2025 (D) American Innovation Dollar - Michigan, Position B is a dollar minted at the Denver Mint, within the American Innovation Dollars 2018 to Date series. The U.S. Mint total of 540,375 is for all Denver Michigan dollars of the year; it is not a count of Position B coins, and that number is not recorded. The obverse features a profile of the Statue of Liberty with a small stylized gear privy mark, and the reverses honor innovations and innovators from each state, the District of Columbia and the U.S. territories. This coin honors Michigan's role in revolutionizing manufacturing through Ransom Olds' and Henry Ford's development of the moving assembly line, which made mass production possible. Denver's mint evolved from a frontier assay office into one of the nation's primary coin production facilities, opening in 1906. Struck in 88.5% copper, 6% zinc, 3.5% manganese and 2% nickel, weighing 8.1 grams, 26.5 mm in diameter, with a lettered edge.
