The folded flag reverse honors the final tribute paid to fallen service members. The obverse features the WWII Memorial's Wall of Stars with an olive branch, each star representing 100 American military deaths, while the reverse displays a folded American flag, as presented at the funeral of a fallen service member, inscribed 'To Unite the Generations of Tomorrow'. Designed by Heidi Wastweet and Eric David Custer (obverse), Ben Sowards and Joseph Menna (reverse). Struck in 90% gold, 6% silver and 4% copper, weighing 8.36 grams, 21.6 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge.
