Description
Doubling shows on the lower edges of the shield stripes 7, 9 and 11 above the ribbon. Die Markers: Obverse: A light diagonal die scratch shows below the second 2 in the date. Extremely light horizontal die scratches run through WE. A faded die gouge (dot) shows below the U in TRUST. Very light vertical die scratches show to the northeast of the S and T in TRUST. A very light die scratch connects the B and E in LIBERTY. Reverse: A tiny die gouge shows in the lower opening of the N in UNITED. A light horizontal die scratch runs from the rim above the ED in UNITED. A very light vertical die gouge shows along the northeast edge of the D in UNITED. A very light die gouge shows to the left of the E in STATES. A tiny die gouge shows to the right of the I in AMERICA. A die gouge shows on the right edge of the second shield stripe.
