2019 (P) Roosevelt Dime - Doubled Die Reverse VDDR-002

Cataloged by VarietyVista as VDDR-002, this 2019 Roosevelt Dime exhibits strong spread on the upper right central olive leaf in the lower right leaf cluster — a localized but well-defined doubling effect on one of the fine botanical elements surrounding the torch on the reverse design. The olive branch, torch, and oak branch on the Roosevelt Dime reverse symbolize peace, liberty, and strength respectively, and the detailed leaf clusters provide fine design geometry where even modest hub displacements can produce identifiable doubled images. Three die stages are documented: Stage A at early die state (EDS, unconfirmed); Stage B at mid-die-state (MDS) showing a die crack along the bottom of the torch on the reverse and die chips on the mouth, cheek, and in the hair on the obverse — documenting concurrent deterioration across both dies; and Stage C at late die state (LDS, unconfirmed). The UVC and DMR catalog codes remain unassigned, indicated by question marks. The die crack along the torch bottom at Stage B is diagnostically valuable because the torch occupies a central position on the reverse, making it readily located during attribution.
