Description
2019-P GU WDDR-004 is a doubled die reverse on the 2019-P America the Beautiful quarter honoring War in the Pacific National Historical Park (Guam), cataloged by the Wexler team. Doubling shows on the large soldier's backpack, close to its top. On the obverse, a gouge touches the A in QUARTER on its inner left leg, both openings of QUARTER's E hold gouges, and another gouge lies right of the O's base in DOLLAR. On the reverse, a short crack heads NW from the far soldier's helmet; a gouge lies at the bottom of the tank's middle square; two gouges are in the water over the LU of PLURIBUS; and one more lies in the water, centered between the area with the palm and the front soldier's gun. George W. Powell, Jr. submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
