The DC-1c-2017P-02 Die Chip is a die chip variety, where a small piece of the die surface broke away, leaving a raised bump on the struck coin. This variety was discovered on the 2017 (P) Lincoln Shield Cent, part of the Lincoln Shield Cents 2010 to Date series. Note: this coin is a later stage of DC-1c-2017P-02. Note the horizontal displacement “white arrow”.
