2017 (P) Ozark National Scenic Riverways Quarter - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-036

Description

2017-P MO WDDR-036 is a doubled die reverse on the 2017-P Ozark National Scenic Riverways quarter (Missouri) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling shows as three extra stones along the top of the cellar window. On the obverse, a gouge lies low inside the U of QUARTER, and three very small parallel gouges sit at the rim to the right of the P mintmark. On the reverse, a gouge lies in the field under the left side of the first R of RIVERWAYS, and another touches the branch under the A in OZARK, on that letter's right side. George W. Powell, Jr. submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references. Wexler calls it similar to WDDR-001 and WDDR-011, as well as WDDR-026 and WDDR-034, but this one has an added stone along the window's left side.
