Description

2017-P MO WDDR-034 is a doubled die reverse on the 2017-P Ozark National Scenic Riverways quarter (Missouri) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling appears as two extra stones along the top of the cellar window. Obverse markers: many small gouges around the ear; a weak NW/SE scratch crossing the Y in LIBERTY through its right arm; a scratch heading SE from the upper right of the first T of STATES; and, left of the first A in AMERICA near its top, a small gouge. On the reverse, a thin north-south scratch lies above the railing of the bridge. George W. Powell, Jr. submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references. Wexler calls it similar to WDDR-001 and WDDR-011, as well as WDDR-026 and WDDR-036, and suggests checking the doubling and die markers against them.
