Description
2017-P MO WDDR-032 is a doubled die reverse on the 2017-P Ozark National Scenic Riverways quarter (Missouri) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is an extra stone at the base of the cellar window. Obverse markers: a crack across the bust's base with a chip left of the designer's initials JF; a gouge under the Y of LIBERTY; a very large gouge inside the E of QUARTER, in its lower opening; a gouge to the right of the D in GOD; and a thin curved scratch through the D of UNITED. On the reverse, one gouge lies in the field NW of the roof's top and another in the field beneath the R of OZARK. George W. Powell, Jr. submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
