Description
2017-P MO WDDR-028 is a doubled die reverse on the 2017-P Ozark National Scenic Riverways quarter (Missouri) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling appears as three weak extra stones within the cellar window. On the obverse, a curved gouge lies under the left side of the R of LIBERTY, and a very small gouge sits left of the I's base in UNITED. On the reverse, a thin north-south scratch links the right roof with the branches over it, and a very small gouge lies near the branches that reach out from below the W of RIVERWAYS. George W. Powell, Jr. submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
