Description
2017-P MO WDDR-023 is a doubled die reverse on the 2017-P Ozark National Scenic Riverways quarter (Missouri) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. Strong doubling shows on the right side of the tree that stands left of the angled roof. On the obverse, a NW/SE scratch passes through the left side of STATES' A, and a gouge lies under AMERICA's M. Reverse markers: a gouge between the branches over the building; a gouge over the roof's right side; and a gouge in the water just below a corner (Wexler's text does not name what the corner belongs to). James Cassin submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
