Description

2017-P MO WDDR-005 is a doubled die reverse on the 2017-P Ozark National Scenic Riverways quarter (Missouri) in the America the Beautiful series, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling takes the form of two extra stones at the top left of the cellar window and one at its top right. Obverse markers: a crack across the bust's base over QUARTER's TER; a gouge touching the lower right side of UNITED's I; a gouge under the right side of QUARTER's A; a gouge close to the rim under the left side of QUARTER's first R; a gouge under DOLLAR's first L; a gouge at the rim right of DOLLAR's R; a gouge in the lower opening of AMERICA's last A; a gouge between AMERICA's E and R; and gouges between UNITED's U and N and right of UNITED's D. Reverse markers: a large gouge over the mill's right side, under the branches; a smaller gouge over the mill, above its middle right side; two gouges between the branches under RIVERWAYS' W; and a gouge in the opening of the branches under RIVERWAYS' ER.
