Description
Doubling showson the designer’s initials LB, the designer’s initials LFM, the top right ofthe scroll, and the letters in AMERICA. Slightnotching shows on the bottom left of the letters in ONE CENT and slightdistortion can be found on the letters in EPU where the distortion increasesfrom left to right.Die Markers: Obverse: Die pitting can be found in and above thehair above the front of the forehead. Adie crack runs NNW into the forehead from the front of the eyebrow. Reverse:A die crack and die chips can be found on the top left of the shield.Submitted By: Stephen YoungCross References: CONECA: 1-R-IV+VIII Obverse: A N/S die crack runs through the hair to the left of the upper ear. An E/W die crack with die chips at the right end runs through the hair at the top of the head below WE. Reverse: A die gouge can be found between the upper T and E in UNITED.
