Description
2014 WDDO-003 is a doubled die obverse on the 2014 Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. LIBERTY and the date show very strong extra thickness, and IN GOD WE TRUST light extra thickness. Wexler notes no obverse markers. On the reverse, a crack and a chip lie on the shield's top left edge above the LU of PLURIBUS, and a light crack joins the lower parts of the E and N in CENT. Louis Nett submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as 3-O-VIII. Wexler includes it in its "Best Of" varieties.
