Doubling shows on the lower part of Thomas Jefferson’s nose. Die Markers: Obverse: Die gouge right of the top of the A in QUARTER. Small die gouge right of the bottom of the last R in QUARTER. Small die gouge below the G in GOD. Die gouge between the bottoms of the R and I in AMERICA. Reverse: Die gouge above the leftmost scaffolding post. Small die gouge inside Jefferson's left eye.
