The 2010 (S) Proof Presidential Dollar - Franklin Pierce is a proof dollar struck at the San Francisco Mint, part of the Presidential Dollars 2007 to Date series. Total mintage reached 2.2 million. The obverse features rotating portraits of each U.S. president in order of service, released four per year, while the reverse displays the Statue of Liberty. Designed by Susan Gamble/Don Everhart. Struck in 77% copper, 12% zinc, 1% other over a pure copper core, weighing 8.1 grams, 26.5 mm in diameter, with a lettered edge. Cataloged as PCGS #417262.
