The 2007 (P) Satin Finish Presidential Dollar - James Madison, Missing Edge Lettering is a special strike dollar struck at the Philadelphia Mint, part of the Presidential Dollars 2007 to Date series. The U.S. Mint produced 895,628 examples, making this ranked 0th of 20 mint variants by mintage, with 0% of production. The obverse features a portrait of James Madison, 4th President (1809-1817) and "Father of the Constitution", while the reverse displays the Statue of Liberty, inscribed with the dollar sign ($) to represent commerce and the nation's global presence. Inaugural year of the Presidential Dollar Program, honoring Washington, Adams, Jefferson, and Madison.
