The 2007 Little Rock Central High School Desegregation Commemorative Dollar is a United States dollar from the Modern Commemorative Dollars (1982-Date) series. In 2007, the Philadelphia Mint struck 190,771 of these dollars, uncirculated and proof together, by the Mint's figures. The obverse shows the students walking to school beside a soldier, under nine stars, and the reverse the school as it looked in 1957. A modern issue from an era of rotating coin designs, collector-focused programs, and renewed interest in numismatic artistry. Struck in 90% silver, 10% copper, weighing 26.73 grams, 38.1 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Designed by Richard Masters/Don Everhart.
