Description

The 2007 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-001 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 2007 (D) Idaho State Quarter, part of the State Quarters 1999-2008 series. Die markers: Obverse: Multiple small die gouges in front of the neck. Small die gouge in the upper opening of the U in QUARTER. Small die gouge between the tops of the A and R in QUARTER. Die gouge right of the last R in QUARTER. Die gouge right of the R in DOLLAR. Reverse: Small die gouge inside the 0 in 1890. Die gouge below the right side of the R in PERPETUA. Die gouge at the lower right corner of the 2 in 2007. Die gouge above the B in PLURIBUS.
