Description
The 2007 Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-001 exhibits reverse doubling resulting from misalignment between the hub and working die during the die-making process. Struck at the Denver Mint, Die markers: Obverse: Multiple small die gouges in front of the neck. Small die gouge in the upper opening of the U in QUARTER. Small die gouge between the tops of the A and R in QUARTER. Die gouge right of the last R in QUARTER. Die gouge right of the R in DOLLAR. Reverse: Small die gouge inside the 0 in 1890. Die gouge below the right side of the R in PERPETUA. Die gouge at the lower right corner of the 2 in 2007. Die gouge above the B in PLURIBUS.
