Identified as UVC-3192 / DMR-043 by VarietyVista, the 2005 DDR-041 Lincoln Memorial cent presents medium spread to the west, creating an extra column #7 from the elbow to the knee. This is the shortest vertical extent among the 2005 entries in this batch, with the ghost column confined to the narrow zone between Lincoln's arm and his seated knee. The limited elbow-to-knee range indicates that only the portion of column #7 directly adjacent to the statue's torso received sufficient hub displacement to register a secondary image. Confirmed at Early Die State (Stage A), the compact nature of this doubling demands careful examination — collectors should focus their search on the column segment framed by the chair arm above and the knee below. Westward spread on column #7 is the mirror counterpart to the eastward column #6 varieties (DDR-019 and DDR-032) from the same year, and these directional families collectively document the range of hub alignment errors that occurred across the many working dies used during 2005 Philadelphia cent production.
