The 2004 (D) Jefferson Nickel - Peace Medal is a nickel produced at the Denver Mint as part of the Jefferson Nickels Westward Journey 2004-2005 series. The U.S. Mint produced 372 million examples, making this the highest mintage among 4 variants, accounting for 26% of the year's production.
