2000 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-026

Description

2000 WDDR-026 is a doubled die reverse on the 2000 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. Doubling appears along the lower left edge of the seventh Memorial column, right of the statue's legs, and an extra leg shows between the statue's legs. Obverse marker: many scratches running ESE from the throat, the bowtie and the lower nose. Reverse markers: a linear gouge touching the N of UNITED at its lower right tip; a small gouge above the left roof; two small gouges by the P of PLURIBUS, both below it and to its left; a small gouge in the corner of the L of PLURIBUS, with a small linear gouge pointing NE just beneath it; two linear NE/SW gouges at the bottom of the seventh Memorial bay; a linear gouge left of the lower part of the O in ONE; a small gouge NNW of the F of FG; and die pitting right of the top of the T in CENT.
