Description

Doubling shows on the lower left side of the 7th Memorial column to the right of the statue’s legs. An extra leg can be found between the statue’s legs. Die Markers: Obverse: Numerous die scratches run ESE from the throat and the bowtie and lower nose. Reverse: A linear die gouge can be found touching the lower right tip of the N in UNITED. A small die gouge can be found above the left roof. Two small die gouges can be found both below and left of the P in PLURIBUS. A small die gouge can be found inside the corner of the L in PLURIBUS. A small linear die gouge can be found pointing northeast just below the previous gouge. Two linear die gouges can be found at the bottom of the 7th Memorial bay running NE/SW. A linear die gouge can be found left of the lower O in ONE. A small die gouge can be found NNW of the F in FG. Die pitting can be found to the right of the upper T in CENT. Obverse:
