Description

2000 WDDR-019 is a doubled die reverse on the 2000 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. Doubling appears along the lower left edge of the seventh Memorial column. Obverse markers: scratches run SW off the T, R and U in TRUST; two scratches extend SE from the O of GOD; a scratch heads west off the back of the head, near its top; two parallel scratches run NE from the center of the shoulder; and a small gouge sits between the upper parts of the last two zeros of the date. Reverse markers: a heavy gouge reaches ESE off the statue's left shoulder; a scratch curves southward off the seventh column's center right side; a SW-to-NE scratch crosses the right Memorial base; a gouge sits under UNITED, between and below its I and T; a gouge is on the Memorial roof north of the fifth column; and a small gouge lies slightly right of and above the G of FG.
