Description
2000 WDDR-018 is a doubled die reverse on the 2000 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. An extra pair of knees appears below and right of the statue's knees. Obverse markers: small gouges inside and above the third zero of the date; a small gouge below and between the first two zeros; a small gouge touching the S of TRUST at its lower left tip; and a small gouge just right of Lincoln's eyebrow. Reverse markers: a small gouge between the upper parts of the N and I in UNITED; a small gouge against the left side of that I at its center; a crack running NW from the tip of the left cornice to the T of UNITED; and a short diagonal scratch beside the O of ONE, left of its center. Ron Traino submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
