Description

Doubling shows on the lower left side of the 7th Memorial column to the right of the statue’s legs. Die Markers: Obverse: A die crack runs SW/NE through the lower right of the first zero, then east to the second zero, and northeast through the second zero and into the field. A small die chip can be found on the top right of the two. Several die gouges can be found right of the upper ear. Overpolishing is visible inside and below the ear and on the jacket left of the upper lapel. A die gouge can be found on the underside of the eyebrow northeast of the eye. A die gouge can be found right of the nose. A die gouge can be found just below the right side of the N in IN. A die gouge can be found below and between the N in IN and G in GOD. A die gouge can be found just in the hair below the right side of the G in GOD. A die gouge can be found touching the top of the hair below and a bit right of the D in GOD. A die gouge can be found just right of the upper upright of L in LIBERTY. A die gouge can be found above and between the I and B in LIBERTY. A die gouge can be found below the B in LIBERTY. Reverse: A die gouge can be found right of the middle of the I in UNITED. A small die gouge can be found between the lower C and A in AMERICA. Die chips can be found on the left side of the upper first and second columns and a large die chip can be found on the left side of the lower third column. A die crack runs northeast from the third column onto the cornice before turning ENE on the upper cornice. A die crack runs ENE from the right side of the top of the fifth column onto the lower cornice. Two small die gouges can be found to the right of the lower last column. A die gouge can found inside the right side of the O in ONE. A small die gouge can be found between the top of the C and E in CENT. A die gouge can be found right of the lower T in UNITED. A die scratch runs from the left roof to the top of the T in UNITED. A die break can be found on the upper left of the first column. A die crack can be found on the left side of the second column. Two die gouges can be found above and outside the right and left side of the E in E PLURIBUS. just outside the A small die gouge can be found to the right of the right Memorial base. A small die gouge can be found below the left side of the left upright of N in ONE. A die gouge can be found touching the lower right side of the T in CENT.
