Description

2000 WDDR-011 is a doubled die reverse on the 2000 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. Doubling appears along the lower right edge of the sixth Memorial column, left of the statue's legs, and along the lower left edge of the seventh column, right of the legs. Obverse marker: a gouge under the E of WE, toward its right. Reverse markers: a gouge below and between the D of UNITED and the first S of STATES; a gouge in the lower part of the A in STATES; a small gouge above the tip of the left cornice; a small gouge over the second U of UNUM, above its right upright; a small gouge beside the first Memorial column's top, on the left; a vertical gouge inside the third Memorial bay, at the middle of its right side; WNW/ESE scratches in the lower and middle parts of the third and fourth bays; a small gouge left of the Memorial base; a gouge on the left Memorial base at its upper tip; a small gouge under the left base's tip; a small gouge under the N of CENT, below its legs; a gouge between the lower N and T of CENT; and a small gouge right of the T in CENT.
