Description

Doubling shows on the lower left side of the 7th Memorial column to the right of the statue’s legs. Die Markers: Obverse: A die chip can be found inside the lower 2. A die gouge can be found above the I in LIBERTY. Several die gouges can be found below the left side of the B in LIBERTY. A die gouge can be found on the leftmost fold of Lincoln’s jacket on the shoulder. A die gouge can be found above the V in VDB. Reverse: A die crack runs from the left cornice to the T in UNITED. A die gouge can be found right of the lower T in UNITED. A die scratch runs from the left roof to the top of the T in UNITED. A die break can be found on the upper left of the first column. A die crack can be found on the left side of the second column. Two die gouges can be found above and outside the right and left side of the E in E PLURIBUS. just outside the A small die gouge can be found to the right of the right Memorial base. A small die gouge can be found below the left side of the left upright of N in ONE. A die gouge can be found touching the lower right side of the T in CENT. Die scratches run WNW/ESE inside the lower/middle 3rd and 4th Memorial bays. A small die gouge can be found left of the Memorial base. A die gouge can be found on the upper left memorial base tip. A small die gouge can be found below the tip of the left Memorial base. A small die gouge can be found below the legs of the N in CENT. A die gouge can be found between the lower N and T in CENT. A small die gouge can be found to the right of the T in CENT.
