2000 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-007

Description

2000 WDDR-007 is a doubled die reverse on the 2000 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. Doubling appears along the lower left edge of the seventh Memorial column, right of the statue's legs, and also in the space between the legs. Obverse markers: a gouge just above the R in LIBERTY, toward its right side; a gouge right of the base of the S in TRUST; a gouge far below and between the S and T of TRUST; a gouge under the right side of TRUST's second T; a gouge well right of the bottom of that T; and a gouge above and right of the B of VDB. Reverse markers: a small gouge (dot) under the C of AMERICA, toward its left side; a gouge right of the lower right of that C; a gouge below and right of the G of FG; a gouge on the right side of the second bush from the right on the right Memorial base; and, under the middle bush of the right Memorial base, a gouge between the bottom step and the second step.
