Description
2000 WDDR-006 is a doubled die reverse on the 2000 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The doubling is on the statue's left knee, along its right side. Obverse markers: a gouge beside the top of the R in TRUST, to its right; a gouge below and right of TRUST's second T; a gouge beside the top of the Y in LIBERTY, to its right; and a vertical gouge well north of and slightly right of the B of VDB, butting against the bottom of a fold in the jacket. Reverse markers: gouges above the left Memorial cornice and the left roof; a gouge under the first A of AMERICA; a gouge on the left of the I in AMERICA, at mid-height; a gouge left of the lower Memorial base; and a gouge right of the lower part of the T in CENT. John A. Wexler submitted the variety. Wexler lists no cross-references.
