2000 (P) Lincoln Memorial Cent - Doubled Die Reverse WDDR-003

Description

2000 WDDR-003 is a doubled die reverse on the 2000 Lincoln Memorial cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. Both of the statue's legs show doubling along their right sides. Obverse markers: a diagonal scratch from the top of the 2 down to the center of the date's first 0; a gouge above and between the I and N of IN; and a gouge on the jacket, far south of the buttonhole's left side. Reverse markers: a gouge running out to the rim from the top right of the left upright of the N in UNITED; a gouge under the F in OF, toward its right side; a gouge under the first A in AMERICA, toward its right side; a small cluster of gouges well below the middle of the M in AMERICA; in PLURIBUS, gouges on both sides of the I, one touching the lower right of the B, and others inside, above and below the second U; two small gouges right of the lower T in CENT; and a small gouge right of the lower N in CENT.
